Raffles at Galaxy Macau, the newest hotel brand from Galaxy Entertainment Group, had its soft launch on August 16, according to GGRAsia. The soft opening, it has been stated, will serve as a precursor to the formal opening ceremony that will take place at the end of 2023.

Success in the Market:

The introduction of Raffles at Galaxy Macau will also mark Raffles' first foray into the Macau market. Inside Asian Gaming (IAG) reports that the new hotel will feature approximately 450 luxury suites, a Mediterranean-themed garden, luxurious pool, spa, and fine dining restaurants, and that accommodations for the selected guests are already available at the resort.

Start Slowly:

The Galaxy Macau, according to IAG, will have a "first look" at numerous restaurants later this month. According to reports, the teaser will continue throughout the month of August, leading up to the soft opening ceremony on the 16th. It has been stated that Galaxy would utilise the occasion to announce more enhancements and features of the property in advance of its grand inauguration. As stated by the firm, "a grand opening, celebrating the addition of the remaining signature restaurants, bar, and a spa, is expected towards the end of the year."

The two towers of the Raffles in Galaxy Macau are purportedly connected by a glass air-bridge. The amenities on each level are meant to improve the stay for the visitors. According to IAG, the experience will be elevated further by the inclusion of a Mediterranean garden, exclusive bars, and restaurants, and the trademark of Chef and Sushi Master Masaaki Miyakawa, one of only five sushi chefs in Japan to be awarded three Michelin stars.

Recent Changes to Raffles:

According to reports, the brand's iconic 'Macau Sling' drink would be available, joining the renowned 'Singapore Sling' served at the original Long Bar in Singapore's Raffles Hotel. According to IAG, Galaxy called the Macau venue's Long Bar a "very unexpected and modern take on the 108-year-old heritage gin bar." The same source also claims that Raffles at Galaxy Macau would join Raffles' portfolio of 18 upscale hotels located in major cities across the world.

The Initiation of Real Estate:
